MedicalPRO Network maintains strict adherence to medical ethics, patient protection standards, and statutory advertising regulations established by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the Department of Health (DOH), and regional medical councils across Southeast Asia.
In accordance with the Philippine Medical Association (PMA) Code of Ethics and the PRC Board of Medicine guidelines, claimed listings may not publish consumer reviews, patient testimonials, or celebrity endorsements that imply guarantees of medical efficacy.
Practitioners and clinics are strictly prohibited from publishing statements promising guaranteed cures, 100% painless procedures, or deterministic medical results. All clinical descriptions must remain factual and educational.
Superlative or comparative statements such as “The #1 Cardiologist in Manila,” “Best Clinic in QC,” or statements that disparage neighboring practitioners are forbidden under regional Consumer Protection Acts and professional conduct codes.
Pre-claim directory listings are derived strictly from publicly available statutory registers (including the Philippine PRC Registry and DOH Facility License Directory). To maintain utmost factual integrity and prevent hijacking, unclaimed profiles display only objective directory data (name, specialty, location, clinic address, and contact numbers on file). Regulatory license numbers are intentionally redacted on unclaimed profiles to preserve anti-hijacking challenge security.
Every professional and healthcare institution retains the unequivocal right under RA 10173 to request profile updates, rectification, or complete removal from the directory. Requests are processed without fee or administrative penalty through our verified opt-out portal.
